Rules Q&A

• Q: If a person attaches Traveling Ronin as an open action via the follower's trait, and an opposing player takes the battle action on Yoritomo Utemaro (xp1) to steal the follower, would the follower's previous controller be able to put it (the follower) back into his hand at the end of the turn?
  A: Yes. It is a delayed effect of the Battle/Open action on the follower that was used to attach it to the original personality. Chris Fuchs, "Utemaro and Traveling Ronin", 24 Sep 2007
• Q: In rules we see that
  "During the Combat Segment, the only action types that can be taken are Battle and Reaction Actions. Battle actions must follow the additional rules of Presence and Location."
  In samurai the cards are cleary marked so they have not problem so, for example,

  we see that we cannot use his abbilty during the battle action segement, but with cards prior to SE there isn't this distinction, for example with
