Rules Q&A
- Q: [Imperial]
Since they have the same timing window: If after focus cards are revealed and the active player has the first prio to play PW, and the Chi is still 3, can the other player still react with the Yoshi ability or the PW will kill the personality? Since PW says minus 3 to CHI and not FV
A: Even though they have the same timing/trigger, if played first, the PW will fully resolve and kill before the opportunity to React with Yoshi.
(Replying to a player: "In this case, the Active player gets to react first, right? Active meaning it’s their turn or cos it’s their action that initiated the duel? Hope that makes sense…") Active means the player whose turn it is. I'm not actually sure if that is the same Reaction priority for contemporary Clan War/Imperial though? Can't quickly look it up right now, but you could! All Rulebooks are now in the Oracle! Brook Cunningham, "Sun and Moon #rules-questions", 27 Oct 2026
