Rules Q&A
- Q: Zokujin - I assume the MRP makes the Zokujin's unit totally unable to straighten by any means during the next turn after its ability is used.
I assume that the restruction applies ONLY during the specified turn, and that the Personality can be straightened at other times including during the turn in which Zokujin's abil;ity was used. I wonder if this MRP to Zokujin et. al. was intentional.
A: Yes, the restriction only applies during your next turn. You could easily use the ability, and then straighten (High Morale) and use it again. As for whether or not the MRP was intentional, why does it matter? Wording cleanups have a long tradition of changing the effet of cards in unforeseen ways. As long as the card is still practically usable for it's intended purpose, the specifics of the ability don't really make a world of difference. Vaughn Derderian, "Rules for August 17th", 17 Aug 2001 - Q: Very simple question. Does Toil of the Zokujin bonus gold work for Kageto's weapon creation action? If it doesn't why does it not work? My reasoning for this question because your no longer paying for attachments but paying for the action and since kageto's action makes an weapon and attaches it I don't see why this bonus gold wouldn't work.
A: Paying for an action that Equips or creates an attachment is paying for the attachment (as well as for the action).
