- Battle: Remove this card from the game: Each player chooses zero to two Personalities at the current battlefield. Remove them from the game; cards and tokens stay attached to them. After the next turn begins, each unit enters play in its owner's home, ignoring costs, restrictions, and entering-play effects; then, give them each three +1F Blood tokens.

Rules Q&A
- Q: If I invest Isawa Orinoko, and she dies, and I bring her back into play (with Blood of the Preserver, for instance), my impression is that her gold cost, since I invested in her, is 15 permanently (unless she becomes face down and out of play). She also permanently has the Fear 5 and Conqueror. However... does she re-enter play with the three +1F/+1C tokens? And, if not, can I invest her again to give her a second Fear 5 and refresh the tokens?
Invest : Give Orinoko three +1F/+1C tokens, then permanently give her Conqueror and the ability, "Fire Battle: Fear 5." This Invest cost cannot be reduced.
A: She would not get the tokens back, as they would have gone away when she left play and her re-entering play does not trigger reapplying them. Jon Palmer, "Returning Invested Personalities to play", 27 Oct 2014 - Q: Another question that came up recently in one of my games. If myself or my opponent use Changing the Game to search for Blood of the Preserver, but choose not to remove it from the game, does it get added to our hand or reshuffled into our fate deck? The card does not specifically say to add it to your hand, so we were a bit confused.
Thank you in advance.
A: There is no choice offered; it doesn't say "you may" before "Remove it", so if you find it, you must do so. Brook Cunningham, "Changing the Game", 22 Mar 2014 - Q: Just a question. If a card gains abilities, traits and/or keywords temporarily and got removed from the game by Blood of the Preserver. Since they are faced up in the "out of the game area", when the turn ends do lose the gained abilities?
A: Ongoing effects with a duration end when that duration expires.
Ongoing effects "on" a card lose track of which card they apply to when that card goes face down and out of play. Alex Jones, "Abilities on removed cards question", 18 Apr 2013 - Q: In a previous thread it's stated that coming back into the game after being removed by Blood of the Preserver would trigger the Overconfident keyword, but the item states that "each unit enters play in its owner's home, ignoring costs, restrictions, and entering-play effects". Isn't the overconfident an entering-play effect?
A: Yes, good catch. I think my brain shut off reading Blood of the Preserver before I finished the text. Original corrected. Thanks! Jon Palmer, "Re: Blood of the Preserver", 26 Nov 2012
