Rules Q&A
- Q: Can I use the Black Pearl to bring someone into play whose honor requirement is above my current honor?
A: The Black Pearl follows the same rules as any other effect bringing a Personality into play, meaning that Clan Allegiance applies but honor requirements must otherwise be met. Jon Palmer, "Black Pearl and honor requirements", 12 Jun 2012 - Q: When a dishonorable dead personality reenters play (say using Black Pearl) do they remain dishonored?
I apologize if this was addressed and my Google-Fu failed to find it.
A: They remain dishonoured.
Sometimes you just need to know where to look... See Physically marked card states, Honorable and dishonorable: Leaving or entering play does not change a Personality’s dishonorable or honorable status. Alex Jones, "looking for clarification on dishonorable dead", 2 Nov 2011
